Letter from District 3 pertaining to the 3q2019 Surplus
The Company has agreed to include 3rd quarter SIPP Ready Takers as options for the C&E 3QTR19 surplus employees in addition to 4th quarter SIPP Ready Takers. There are twenty nine 3QTR19 Ready Takers who were not granted SIPP during the quarter. The Company will contact them today to determine which 3QTR19 Ready Takers are interested in being included in this process. Conversely, this will ensure that any 3QTR19 Ready Taker who does not want an opportunity to receive SIPP will not be included. Please see the labor notification below.

Per our discussion last evening we will be including the SIPP volunteers who were not matched from the 3rd quarter list and still want to be considered for matching as well as new volunteers on the 4th quarter list. We are doing this outside of our normal process due to the 3rd quarter late in process TFS reduction resulting in the surplus process crossing into the 4th quarter. This is not something we intend to do in the future and is not precedent setting. If you disagree please inform me ASAP and we can discuss how you would suggest we handle the multiple SIPP lists.
